Offenders convicted of a criminal offense against a minor are required to register and individuals who have been convicted of an aggravated sex offense are required to register with the Wyoming sex offender registry.

A criminal offense against a minor include any of the following offenses:

• Kidnapping
• Felonious restraint
• Prostitution, soliciting prostitution, or promoting prostitution
• Producing obscene material with a minor in a sexual performance
• Soliciting sexual conduct
• Attempt to commit any of the above

An aggravated sex offense includes any of the following:

• First or second degree sexual assault
• Certain instances of third degree sexual assault
• Incest
• Immoral or indecent acts
• Attempt to commit an offense listed above

A sex offense includes any of the following:

• Certain instances of third degree sexual assault
• Conspiracy to commit sexual assault
• Indecent liberties if the victim is at least 16 but under 18 and the offender is four years older than the victim
• An attempt to commit an offense listed above.
