| The Pennsylvania Open Records Law provides the residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania access to the public records of the activities of public agencies and meetings in the state. The Right to Know Law was originally enacted in 1957 and was amended to deal with public records. This law provides the citizens access to the various Pennsylvania public records law in the state including court records, criminal records, jail records, incarceration records, background check records, and real estate records. | ||||||
