|The Mississippi Public Records Act of 1983 states that the public records of Mississippi must be made available for inspection by an person unless otherwise provided. There are a number of public records that may be available for public access including Mississippi criminal records, court records, property records, civil case records, real estate records, incarceration records, UCC records and vital records.
